The E/PLAQUE is a silicone sheet used to protect a variety of distribution and substation equipment up to 35 kV between phase and earth. This flexible silicone rubber plate provides high quality electrical insulation for overhead distribution lines, cables and substation busbars against avifauna.

With your arms relaxed at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest.
Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, generally around the belly button. To ensure a comfortable fit, keep one finger between the measuring tape and your body.
Characteristics of the range E/PLAQUE
Manufactured in 65 durometer silicone with a thickness of 3.175mm, the MIDSUN® E/PLAQUE range is supplied in rolls. It is used to protect phase-to-phase and phase-earth parts on equipment installed in substations and distribution stations up to 35 kV.

The E/PLAQUE designed for easy application without the need to undo electrical connections. The insulating covers are flexibles and adjustables, allowing for easy and reusable installation and removal, with no heat or adhesive residue on the parts to be protected.

Lifespan and guarantees
The products of the E/PLAQUE range have a shelf life of 5 years from the date of manufacture; they must be stored between 10°C and 27°C and in a relative humidity rate <75%.
The natural hydrophibicity of silicone and its very high UV and chemical resistance properties contribute to an expected service life of over 20 years.
Applied in accordance with the MIDSUN® manufacturer's recommandations, this product is guaranteed by the manufacturer for a minimum of 10 years.
